Everyone who use Internet in Malaysia now keep on talk about “Eh, potong good or not?”

I have Streamyx, Celcom & P1 Wimax now.
But I will not talk about Celcom here, since this topic is about potong or not.

For Streamyx, I have very bad experience with their customer service. When got problem, I always call to their call center. Their customer used to make me heart attack. But now, the quality of their customer service had improved a lot. Those voice that used to make me heart attack is no longer there anymore, a lot of new voice and with better quality. The most important thing, these new people won’t make you piss off until heart attack.

While for speed and stability, undeniable, it is much more better than P1 Wimax.

Why Windows 7 Not Worth The Money

At first, I wouldn’t want to release this article. But after I see there is so many people who over fancy about Windows 7 and willing to pretend not seeing its disadvantage but continue on bashing Linux, so I have decided to publish this article.

As you all know, Windows 7 is officially released at 22nd October 2009. It is serve as a replacement of Windows Vista. I’m sure a lot people wondering why is Windows 7 release so fast while Vista only on the market officially just for 2 years time? I will explain that later.

Vista was released 30th January 2007. It had been a long waited OS from Microsoft by a lot of people. But everyone was very frustrated with the result as Vista was consuming too much disk space, RAM etc. The minimum requirement that Vista require is too high, until most people not able to catch up. A lot of people was forced to upgrade the PC just to be able to install Vista.

Happy Deepavali

Tomorrow is another festival of one of our race.
Yes, its Deepavali of your Indian comrades. And it is another public holiday!!!

To be honest, the Indian community the one of the race where they still have very strong spirit of their race’s festival and they really celebrating it with the attitude that they suppose to have.

Unlike other race, for example, Chinese.
Now Chinese are celebrating Chinese New Year with a different attitude from what they should have. Why? Although most of them still following the customs, but they are more prefer to buy expensive clothes which are not practical to wear during normal days just to show off.
On the mouth, although they didn’t scold people “You go and die lar!” But in the heart, they still scolding people like this during CNY, so whats the point of not voice it out lar?

Site Will Down For Migration

This site will down a few hours in order to migrate to a new server.

This site’s hits has increase a lot recently, and the web hosting is not enough to support this much of visit.

Therefore, I had decided to migrate this site from a shared web hosting to a VPS where this site will be running alone in a server without sharing resources with other websites.

All the data has been migrated before this post is written, so the site is only down for a few hours in order for the domain name’s name server record to be updated.

Selamat Hari Raya, Eid Mubarak

To everyone who are celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri (In Malaysia) a.k.a Eid ul-Fitr (In Arabs), I would like to wish you “Selamat Hari Raya! Maaf Zahir & Batin” and “Eid Mubarak“.

Since Hari Raya is a harmony day, so I will not use any vulgar words in today’s article.

For those who do not know why it is called Eid ul-Fitr in Arab, but not Aidilfitri, here is the reason (I found it from wikipedia).
In different country, there is a lot of different way to call it and its way of greeting for Eid is also different.
But here, I only concentrate on Malaysia ones as I am a Malaysian.

Site will temporary down for server transfer.

This site will be temporary down for server transfer start from 13th September 2009.

It is estimated will be down from 13/09/09 3am to 3am 14/09/09 since domain DNS update usually takes up to 24 hours or 72 hours. But of course, I hope that the DNS records update will be fast.

If you are not able to view this site, it not your internet problem or the site is closed, it is because of the server migration,

Decision on migrating server is to have a faster loading speed and better uptime due to the current server always having downtime during peak hours. Therefore, migrating to a new server with higher specs (RAM & CPU speed) will solve the downtime problem.

09/09/09 – 9th September 2009

Yesterday is 9th September 2009, a lot of couples decided to give up their freedom as a single and start a new live with their gf/bf to start a live as a married people. And the funny thing is, they think that choosing this date, they can be together for eternity due to the number 999 resembles 天长地久.

Does this really true that they can really be together for eternity?

Last year 08/08/08, 8th August 2008, also have lots of couple decided to throw away their freedom and get married this day. Some of those who not yet ready to get marry, but they wanted to have a rich life, so they get married in this day. But from what I see, the date does not makes any difference. They wealth level still the same, and they are still a blue collar, not yet promoted to white collar level yet.

Merdeka!? Real or not?

Everyone also write about Merdeka, then oklah, I also write lah.
Everyone so happy about Merdeka, but do these people really remember the meaning of Merdeka or not? Or they just happy because it is a holiday?
I can tell you the answer, they happy and remember 31 August because of it is holiday only, and guess what? They don’t really give a damn about the country independence day. For them, it is a day that they no need to go to work.

Some older people always said a lot young people nowadays do not appreciate this day, and it is true.
Don’t say “ya lor, a lot ppl is like this already now” coz u also one of them! Wat!? Not syok ar!? Come and bite me lar!
Some people said although the country is already independent, but the people’s mind still not yet independent. I am totally agree with this! Don’t say the same fucking things “ya lor”, coz most probably you also one of these people!

Preparation to prevent dificulties if your house is on fire.

As promised in my last article, I am writing this article now about safety precautions that you should pay attention to to prevent too much difficulties if your house is zapped by fire.

I know, many of you are living in apartments or condominium. There is a few things that you should always aware of. First, make sure you get to know most of the neighbors around you, including those who living at other floor or other blocks. When anything happen, they usually will be the first one who help you. Of course, some of them might be same like my neighbor who live next door to me, a fucking selfish ass holes. But if you know more people in your living place, there will be more chance that you will know those who willing to help you when you in need. And you should do the same to them as well, when they in need, help them. Or else you will be labeled as a fucking pukimak and no one will help you. This is why Fly.fm always have an advertisement and tell people to get to know their neighbors.
